Join the artists and curators of Multiples, for a live, interactive conversation about the themes and concepts behind the exhibition – now on view through September 12th. Multiples shares a strategy of building meaning from the multiple, as found in iterative series, repetition of mass-produced objects and images in new and site-responsive works by Nathan Gulick, Colleen Hargaden, Seth Lower, Megan Mueller, Samuel Scharf, Noah Spindler, Katie Thoma, and Katya Usvitsky, and Hannah Sage Kay.

Sign up for the live artist talk at eventbrite.

Community

Sign up on evenbrite here! Limit of 20 participants. The workshop will be held outside.

This August, Angels Gate will be holding Family Art Workshop in-person at Angels Gate, as well as Virtually on Zoom! COVID-19 safety protocols (mask wearing & contact tracing) will be enforced on-site.

Join Artist-Teacher Patricia Liverman for this month’s workshop exploring collage! We will make our own landscapes using an array of tactile materials. Exploring the practice of collage, we will use textures and colors to create touchable works of art inspired by the world around us or worlds we imagine.

Suggested Materials:

  • Large-size poster board
  • Craft glue
  • Paintbrushes
  • Fabric scraps
  • Needles and thread
  • Assorted papers and textured items

Supplies will be provided to those who attend on-site at AGCC. You are invited to bring your own fabric scraps and other textural materials (such as string or yarn, buttons or beads, sandpaper)!

Sign up today! Register on eventbrite, and you will receive the Zoom link prior to the event.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
