Sara Abrahamsson

LA County Department of Arts and Culture Sara Abrahamsson is a visual artist and Art History major at UCLA. Her artistic passions and interest in the administration of arts organizations led her to this exciting role at AGCC. As a culmination of her research in Cuban post-revolutionary graphic art, Sara will complete an Honors thesis in her final year at UCLA. In her art practice, she explores themes of queerness in large-scale acrylic paintings, often tying historical events to her own experiences.
