Hand-Building and Surface Design Class (Mixed Levels)

$250This class is designed for all skill levels and will cover the basics of hand-building with clay while offering ways to develop and refine skills you may already have.
Join us for a 5 week long hand-building ceramics class at beautiful Angel’s Gate Cultural Center overlooking Point Fermin! This class is designed for all skill levels and will cover the basics of hand-building with clay while offering ways to develop and refine skills you may already have. Through various projects, students will explore slab and coil-building using a variety of templates and molds, while incorporating exciting design elements with texture and color. Suitable for beginners to advanced makers.
Dates: Fridays in March from 3/1/2024 through 3/29/2024.
Times: 10:00am – 12:30pm
What’s Included:
- Studio equipment including basic clay tools, slab roller, extruder, wheel & workspace
- 25 lb bag of clay, slips, underglazes, glaze, & firing
- 5x 2.5 hour long studio sessions of instruction and guidance while making work
