Family Art Workshop: Day of the Dead Traditions! – Sold Out

It's Family Art Workshop with Artist-Teacher Marissa Sykes!
Join us for a very special Day of the Dead Family Art Workshop with Artist-Teacher Marissa Sykes!
Attendees will learn about this cultural tradition and how to set up their own family altar at home or contribute to the Angels Gate Cultural Center Community Altar! Participants will create tissue paper flowers to take for their family’s Day of the Dead Altar or add to the community altar.
Attendees are optionally invited to contribute to the AGCC Community Altar by bringing a photograph or momento in honor of a departed loved one. These special tokens will be placed on the Day Of The Dead Altar on view in our main gallery through November 18th.
All materials are provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Pets are not allowed inside our galleries or classrooms.
Meet your teacher in Building A’s Gallery and we will walk over to the Rorke Classroom in G together.

Angels Gate offers free art workshops every 3rd Saturday of the month. All are welcome. Art activities for kids and adults, ages 1 to 101!
