I am a self taught ceramic artist residing and working in San Pedro, California. I am in love with the material and the process. My practice and ideas evolve through making. When I am working with clay, I often feel very connected to the past. I admire the part pottery has played in preserving information about the ways cultures stored and transported goods, as well as its part in ceremony and tradition. The ceramic vessel is a vehicle for telling stories and passing on information to the next generation. I hope my vessels feel true and authentic in your hands.
