Beginning Printmaking for Adults
Saturdays, October 2 - December 11 - 10 AM - 1 PM (no class over Thanksgiving weekend, Saturday November 27th)
$18/class or $160 for all 10 classes
Students in this class will learn a little bit of everything from monotype to relief and intaglio printing. The focus of the class will be determined by what you want to learn.

Imaging With the Phone Camera
This one day workshop will focus on how to use the phone camera for fine art imaging.
The goal will be to enhance one's capabilities and to have a real time internet
exhibit during the workshop.
The workshop will review compositional techniques, use of applications,
and special effects (FX).
A phone with a camera and a back up battery are required for the class. The ability
to email images from the phone is also required.A phone capable of downloading applications
is best, though not required.

Robert Scott Dance Company - Classes Now Available!

Offering Modern and Contemporary dance classes for beginning to intermediate dance levels. Classes will incorporate innovative movement and original dance works choreographed and taught by Robert Garcia and Scott Anderson. Individual attention to each student is emphasized as well as a collective effort from all the dancers working together in a positive atmosphere. Auditions will be held for dance company performances - dates and times to be announced. Participation in the dance company is optional.

Beginning Bellydance with Alexiis
Alexiis teaches grace, strength and community through the combination of fusion and American Tribal Style influenced bellydance. Classes are on going and suitable for all healthy bodies.
This dance style has no age, race or size limitations.
One must simply show up and be prepared to join in on learning steps from the ancient language of womans communal dance.
Level 1 Classes focus on the basics, drills, isolations and tribal-dance elements. This is a good place for absolute beginners and those who need to "brush-up" on their dance vocabulary.
Wear comfortable yoga-style clothing that allows for movement of the body.

The Art of Japanese Archery Kyudo (Way of Bow) is often described as moving meditation.

The Southern California Institute for Zen Studies is a meditation group affiliated with the Chozen-ji International Zen Dojo of Honolulu, Hawaii.
Sensei William Monterroso is the head of our Los Angeles area dojo and leads the Sunday sittings. Anyone interested in sitting is welcome to come and observe a session.
