Mindfulness Meditation

These open guided meditation sessions include both walking and sitting breath-based mindfulness meditation – a practice anyone can benefit from and participate in. These are offered by the Tara Mandala Sangha of Greater Los Angeles, affiliated with the teachings of Lama Tsultrim Allione, international teacher and author, and founder of the Tara Mandala Retreat center in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. A combination of walking and sitting meditation will be offered for 1 hour, followed by a discussion and social time.
 
Both yoga and regular chairs are available for the meditation, but feel free to bring your own cushion. You may also want a blanket or jacket as the venue is chilly in the mornings. These sessions are offered on a dana (donation) basis, with a suggested amount of $5. Everyone welcome!
