MAYDAY! – Tales of Love and other Emergencies
Celebrate the lusty month of May with delicious love stories read aloud, around the bonfire, outside under the stars.
The 2nd annual MAYDAY! will charm the night for one performance only on Sunday, April 30th at 7:00 p.m. at Angels Gate Cultural Center. All-new program every year – 90 minutes of spellbinding storytelling suitable for all lovers and lovers of literature.
MAYDAY! is unforgettable theatre for the ears – great love stories and poetry by T.C. Boyle, Dorothy Parker, Langston Hughes, Paul Theroux, Lucile Clifton and Elizabeth Barrett Browning, among others, brought to life by readers Melanie Jones, Nelson DelRosario and Kalie Quinones.

MAYDAY! is produced and directed by Melanie Jones, whose SCARY STORIES has been thrilling audiences every October since 2003.
Bring your own seating and dress for sitting outdoors. (Love may keep you warm, but wear some layers just in case.)
Recommended for adults and young adults.Picnics welcome. Free folding chairs are available on site.
